About Alice Shapiro
Poet Laureate Emeritus Alice Shapiro grew up in New York and is author of a poetry collection "Saltian to dance" published by Unbound Content Press and an award-winning one-act tragedy in verse ("Four Voices").
She was a recipient of, The Literary Titan Silver Book Award, and was twice Poetry Pushcart Prize nominee (2012). She studied at NYU with William Packard. She. lives and works in Wilmington, Delaware.
